Note: At the equinoxes (March & September), the sun rises due east (~90°) and sets due west (~270°) everywhere on Earth. At the summer solstice, sunrise shifts north; at winter solstice, it shifts south. The range depends on latitude — extreme at high latitudes, narrow near the equator.
