Privacy Policy
Camera Settings ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard information when you visit our website at camerasettings.com.
Information We Collect
We collect minimal information to provide and improve our services:
- Location Data: When you use our tools (Aurora Tracker, Golden Hour Calculator, Night Sky Planner), we may request your location to provide location-specific calculations. This data is processed locally in your browser and is not stored on our servers.
- Email Address: If you subscribe to the newsletter, request a free download, or buy a digital product, your email address is collected by Kit, our email and checkout provider, so we can deliver the files and send the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- Purchase Information: When you buy a digital product, Kit and Stripe process your payment. We see your email address, the product purchased, and the amount paid. We never see or store your card number.
- Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous usage statistics to understand how visitors interact with our site. This includes page views, time on site, and general geographic region.
- Local Storage: We use browser local storage to save your preferences (such as night vision mode settings). This data never leaves your device.
