Description of Service
Camera Settings provides photography-related tools, educational resources, and digital products, including:
- Aurora Tracker with real-time space weather data
- Golden Hour Calculator for sunrise and sunset times
- Night Sky Planner for astrophotography planning
- Photography guides and reference materials
- Free downloads (cheat sheets and Lightroom presets) delivered by email
- Paid digital products, such as The Camera Settings Field Guide
Digital Products and Purchases
These terms apply to any paid digital product sold through this website.
- What you are buying: A digital download (for example, PDF files and image files delivered in a ZIP archive). Nothing is shipped. The contents of each product are described on its product page.
- Price and payment: Prices are shown in US dollars. Checkout and payment are handled by Kit (Kit.com), with card processing by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details. Any applicable sales tax or VAT is stated at checkout where it is collected.
- Delivery: After payment you receive a download link on the confirmation page and by email at the address entered at checkout. If the email does not arrive, check your spam folder, then reply to any Camera Settings email and we will resend it.
- License: Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to download, print, and use the product for your own photography on any devices you own. You may not resell, share, redistribute, or post the files publicly, or remove any notices from them. Purchases made for a team or class require one license per person.
- Updates: Paid products are revised when the reference material on this site changes. New editions of a product you have purchased are provided at no additional charge, delivered to the email address used at purchase, for as long as the product is offered.
- Refunds: If a paid product is not useful to you, request a refund within 30 days of purchase by replying to your purchase receipt. Refunds are issued in full to the original payment method, no questions asked. Refunded purchases end the license described above.
- Right of withdrawal: Where a statutory right of withdrawal applies to digital content, you acknowledge that delivery begins as soon as you download the files and that any such right ends at that point. Our 30-day refund policy applies regardless.
- Accuracy: Product contents are starting points, not guarantees of results. The disclaimers under "Use of Tools and Information" apply to paid products as well.
Free Downloads and Newsletter
Free resources are delivered by email through Kit, our email service provider. Requesting a free download subscribes you to the Camera Settings newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, and you will still keep the files you downloaded.
